LAMA Ecological provides services to the private and public sectors, including:

• Provision of direct services or management of science-intensive ecological permitting and compliance, including applications for and compliance with U.S. Marine Mammal Protection Act authorizations and preparation of U.S. National Environmental Policy Act documentation;
• Management of small to large applied ecological research projects, including provision and management of subcontractors;
• Partnering with or subcontracting to other firms;
• Management of marine mammal impact mitigation, including management of marine mammal observers and acoustic programs;
• Formal and informal reviews of strategies, documents, programs, and projects;
• Establishment and management of review panels and other committees;
• Establishment of applied ecological workshops and meetings;
• Technical interpretation of policies and regulations related to underwater noise, habitat management and restoration, and wildlife interactions;
• Writing and editorial services, including writing coaching for ecological reports, peer reviewed papers, articles intended for corporate magazines and the popular press and books; and
• Advice regarding cost management and usefulness of large projects and programs managed by third party contractors.
